Green Taiga Turtle in Malaysia.
Did you know that the largest sea turtle, the leatherback turtle, can weigh up to 900kg! Turtles aren't silent. Depending on the species, they can make a range of noises, anything from chicken-like clucks to dog-like barking. As reptiles, sea turtles breathe air but they have the ability to remain submerged for hours at a time and even sleep underwater. They spend their entire life at sea, only returning to nesting beaches to lay their eggs, although green turtles will come ashore occasionally to bask in the warmth of the sun.
