Green Taiga Mandrill in Malaysia.
Mandrills are the largest and most colorful of the Old World monkeys. They are related to baboons and even more so to drills. Their furry head crest, mane, and beard are quite impressive but what makes them easily recognisable is their beautiful bright coloration on their nose and rump. These bright colours are what attract the females to the males. They are foragers and spend most of their time on the ground searching for seeds, nuts, fruits, and small animals to eat.
These beautiful wooden Mandrill figures are handmade with love and have been developed with the anatomical features of a child's hands in mind.
They have varying texture which assists in developing motor skills and allows the toy to become a guide to the world of wonder and adventure.
Playing with wooden figures instills the love of nature and animals while developing creativity and imagination. These are perfect for young children and are ideal for use in Montessori and Waldorf play settings or as educational tools.
