Green Taiga Toucan with branch in Malaysia.
Toco Toucans use their large beaks to pluck and peel fruit which is their main source of food. In addition, the beak houses a flat tongue of the same length, which helps them to also catch insects, frogs, and small reptiles. They are native to South America and live mostly in tropical rainforests.
They have varying texture which assists in developing motor skills and allows the toy to become a guide to the world of wonder and adventure.
Playing with wooden figures instills the love of nature and animals while developing creativity and imagination. These are perfect for young children and are ideal for use in Montessori and Waldorf play settings or as educational tools.
